As most of our students are via referral, pardon us, we do not provide tel contact at general enquiries stage, feel free to contact us via below box.  We will revert within 1 or 2 days.  Thank you!

We are pleased to have abundant positive feedback from our parents!

All our students advanced and improved substantially after taking our courses and a large % can get into suitable good schools of their choice including:  DBSPD, DGJS, St Paul's Co-ed, CKY, TSL, YW, SFA, Kowloon Tong, GT, Logos, WKF, Raimondi, St Stephen Stanley, SPB, HKUGAPS, St Clare, St Louis, Sacred Heart, ISF, VSA etc.  We stressed that it is of utmost importance to find the "right school" for your child.   There are many factors to consider and we host Parents' Talks focusing particularly on this topic.

For door knocking at government aided schools, we have advised and assisted students how to get into top schools as Maryknoll, St Mary, La Salle, St Joseph, Wa Yan and Marymount.

And many many more.................

Thank you so much for all the appreciation shown by Parents!
We love children and we will continue to put all our minds and hearts in them!

1.   Do kids need to attend P.1 interview preparation class?

The answer is definitely YES, because competition is HUGE!

For top schools like: DB, DG, St Paul’s Co-ed, PLK Choy Kai Yau, St Stephen's Stanley, St Paul's Boys, Ying Wa etc, the number of applicants every year are over 3500!  For  PLK Tan Siu Lin, the number of applicants has even exceeded 7000!
Yet for each of these schools, there are only about 150 Primary 1 places!

 Your child needs to be   P R E P A R E D   for interviews!

2.  Is it sufficient to just train my child at home?
     We believe NOT!   Simply:

  1. Do you as parents have the TIME and SYSTEM to train your child?
  2. Does your child LISTEN well to you in a teaching context?
  3. Can your child communicate CONFIDENTLY with strangers?
  4. Do you know how to train your child to “conquer” interview fears?
  5. Interviews are often conducted in groups.  Do you have group settings for your child to practice interacting with peers?
  6. Lastly, do you have the most up to date interview questions by top schools?  We can prepare the child so that he/she can respond to these questions in an effective, relaxed manner.

3.    My child is shy / overactive!  My child is hence unlikely to perform well at interviews?

We emphazise in encouraging and praising a child to perform his/her best.  We work with parents what to do and say to the child too.  Together, for shy kids, we can lift the child's confidence and gradually he/she will not be shy anymore.  For active kids, we have ways to train them to sit and focus well.

Remember the MORE EXPOSURE they have to interview training and different settings, the more likely they can perform well in actual interviews, thereby increasing their chances of successful entry into good schools.  All our teachers have geniune passion for kids and we really have the heart and desire to help a child reaching his full potential and gaining a place in top schools.

4.   How is your interview course structured?

We have a total of 4 teaching periods from Jan to mid Oct every year:

Period 1 (from Jan to Mar):  With "assessment" at the last lesson with rankings

Periods 2 and 3 (from Apr to Aug): With "mock interviews" with rankings and DVD for parents' perusal

Period 4 (From Sep to Oct):  Intensive mock drilling classes to get the child all ready for interviews

From (Oct to Dec):  Intensive training for top schools' 2nd and 3rd interviews

We have reports after every lesson on how the child performs so parents can assist to improve his weak areas at home. We also provide mock interviews (conducted by outside teachers) with both group and individual interviews so that our students can be familiarized with the actual interview requirements.

5.  Do you also support the parents?

Yes!   We fully understand Parents face more pressure than children in the interview process!!

  • Debriefing:  we debrief to parents after every class for 5 to 10 minutes on the how the child performs that class.
  • Consultation:  we have private consultation available at a fee.  Parents can enquire as wished.  Please see members' area.
  • Parents' Seminars:  we host Parents' Seminars so as to better prepare both our students and their parents:
- The making of Portfolios, interview clothing and related matters
- Choosing the right schools, count down preparation
- Top schools' typical questions and interview tips
- Tips on 6mths, 3mths count down preparation
Only parents of our interview programs are invited.

Funny replies by 5 years old

During our teachings and mock interviews with 4.5 years to 5.5 years old, there are many funny replies.  These purity and simplicity in kids are the main attractions for us to be in the education field.  It's a joy seeing what they do and hearing what they say.  Here are a few funny ones:  Teacher (T)  Child (C)

1. Name
T:  What is your name in English?
C:  (Very fast response): Yes

T:  What is--your--name--in--English?
C:  (Very fast response):  Yes

T:  What---is---your---English---name?
C:  (A little puzzled): Yes

T:  What-----is-----your-----name?
C: (Suddenly getting the message, said loudly and boldly):  It's A Tom.
T:   ...............................(this one needs a lottttt of training)......

2. Name (2)
T: What is your name?

C: My name is Chan Siu Ming
T: Which kindergarten do you go to?
C: (Very fast response) I go to Chan Siu Ming Kindergarten.

3. Family members
T: Who are your family members?
C: My dog, hamster, maid, little sister............mum and dad.

4. Reading

T: Do you like reading?
C: (Very seriously)   NOoooooo

5. Music
T: Do you play any musical instruments?

C: Yes, piano and violin.
T: That's wonderful. Do you practice everyday?
C: Yes, 3 hours for each you know.
T: ........................
(Clarified with student's mum: 15 mins on piano only, did not learn violin)

6. Homework

T: What would you do if you are stuck in your homework?
C: Mummy would beat me up!
T: Really?
C: Yes, very fiercely too!
T:  ...............................

(Clarified with student's mum: just saying that to make her pay attention in class.  Never beat her).

7.  National Day
T:  What festival is it on 1 Oct?
C:  (thinking and thinking) ............I dont know.
C:  (suddenly) ah yes, someone's birthday.

8. Ambition
T: What do you want to be when you grow up?

C: .......................I don't know
T: How about like your daddy, to be a smart lawyer?
C: But he always sleeps!

9.  Ambition (2)
T:  What do you want to be when you grow up?
C:  Policeman
T:   I see.  Why?
C:  To help the sick
T:  You mean you want to be a doctor, to help those who are sick?
C:  No, when kids cross roads and got hit by cars, policeman take them to hospital.

10.  Smile
When asking the last question during a mock interview:
T:  Can you please show me a big smile?
C:  e....
T:  Is that a BIG smile?
C:  ee.....
T:  Okay, thank you, you may go now.
C:  (Big broad smile and runs off)
